It is with great sadness that I announce the death of the great Alan Hague, curator of the Norfolk & Suffolk Aviation Museum at Flixton, Suffolk.
Alan died at 11am today in his home at Lowestoft after losing his fight to Cancer.
I had known Alan since the early 1980’s, he was around the Flixton base as a youngster in WWII & was one of the pioneers of Aviation Archaeology back in the early 70’s. Many of his fantastic digging finds are on display at the NASAM.
May I extend mine & all the digging teams sincere condolences to his family & friends, losing a loved one at any time is wretched but it is so much worse at this time of year.
