Working in Colorado last month gave me the chance to try and photo these lovelies in the wild…..there is none of God’s creatures more beautiful!

finally back from Colorado, I took this photo of one in flight from a tree….hope you like it….of all the flying things I have photographed, this is the most beautiful!!

They’re a joy to see. One of the advantages of living here is we get to see some in the wild.
Last year we took a boat trip and saw 40+ pairs feasting on the salmon run.Last year on my final drive of my vintage roadster before putting it up for the winter, I turned down a road not far from my home and soaring just above me was a huge bald eagle. He was circling…looking for lunch I suspect.
I just stopped and watched it for five minutes until it flew off.
Beautiful…
