I've Heard It All Now!

In a survey 74% of woman asked said they would opt for being given a 6 month sabbatical in lieu of having children to put them on an equal footing.

What is the matter with this country? At least it is encouraging that 26% maintain a vestige of responsibility. What on earth do the proposers assume the new mother is doing? Swanning around the world on a cruise, going on safari, whilst her infant(s) gets on with it?

There may be an argument for excessive maternity leave but solving it by burdening businesses with every female employee taking leave is ludicrous in the extreme.
