Former Malev Boeing 737-700 HA-LOA was ferried from Tel Aviv to Dublin today, using its registration as callsign. It had been under maintenance at Tel Aviv when Malev ceased operations. As such, this was most likely the last time an aircraft will fly in Malev’s full livery and with Hungarian registration. These are not the greatest shots, as I only just made it to the airport as the aircraft was on short final, but it was good to be able to record the occasion.

Indeed a great shame. Flying since 1946. Then the EC put the boot in. Always a decent colour scheme too.

Nice shots, but so sad to see Malev disappear.

Thanks for posting those shots. A very sad sight to see a carrier with such a long and varied history, just fade away:(
