Hello all,
I don’t really know of any coin collecting forums so the general chatter section of this one will have to do. My mum found this coin among a collection of assorted coins from around the world including 1930’s US cents and Victorian era pennies! However this particular coin seems to have no recognisable markings on it. She is interested to know from what country it hails and if possible what denomination it is. Hope someone here can help!

Round with a square hole is if I am not mistaken only used in China. So I went looking and it looks like the coin top right on below link:
