Another great, but bitterly cold morning at Southend Airport with great light and still a covering of snow from last weekend.
The familiar Aero Contractors 737 heads home to Nigeria via Valencia, having not moved since its test flight a fortnight ago. This has to be my favourite shot of 2012 so far!

Then I just got this easyJet Switzerland A319 being towed to the paintshop after having arrived the previous day. Should be seeing a few more of orange A319s this year!

The Aer Arann decided to be difficult with runays, so a boring shot of newly liveried EI-BYO.

And finally, a Russian Airbus of Avia Nova parked on stand which arrived from Shannon the previous day! Probably feeling at hope in -7C!

I hope these are of interest!

Air France could learn a thing or two from EasyJet 😉

Thanks EGTC. As far as I am aware its a straight respray, staying in easyjet colours. I admit it doesn’t look too scruffy, but the colours are a bit faded. The aircraft is over 6 years old now.

Is that easyjet being painted into a different livery or the same one? Doesn’t look like it needs painting if it’s going into the same livery.
Lovely shots of course 🙂
