Noticed on flightradar24 that a Condor B757-300 was on a test flight from Manchester. Recently bought a new lens so thought I’d test it on the aircraft as it flew past.

Guessing this is part of the testing – anyone know what’s hanging down?
Test flight route on fr24
Cheers for looking!

Mmm. I think it is the RAM door. Look at this pic and you can see something that looks very similar

It doesn`t look as though the RAT is deployed on the airborne shots,so the door looks `free-hanging`;bet it made for a bit of vibration in flight,as you would not normally get airborne with it `open`..somebody`s knuckles will get a rap if it wasn`t properly secured on departure.Ring the maintenance company and send them a copy……

Hi there looks like the RAT (Ram Air Turbine) Door to me!
If you pull the shot in you should see it at the rear of the door as its connected to the door by a small tie rod!

Doesn’t look like part of the undercarriage doors. Too far behind. Possibly the panel outlined in red in this photo. Maybe the reason for the test flight, to see if it would retract? 😉
Another thought, doesn’t it have an emergency generator thingy for deployment, where would that be located?
