Oscar winning actor Karl Malden has died… He was 97.
Malden was known for his distinctive nose and roles opposite Marlon Brando in A Streetcar Named Desire and On The Waterfront…maybe some aviation buffs will remember him from Bombers B52

I caught part of Patton on TV awhile back…and was really impressed with Malden’s work as the “average guy” general, Omar Bradley.
I’d forgotten he was the NCO (and Natalie Wood’s dad) in Bombers B-52.
He looked the part of a NCO…

Another great actor gone. Always liked the Streets of San Francisco, that movie Bombers B52 is woth it for the flying scenes alone. RIP old friend 🙁
