But I think an important point still stands. You and Graham used the word assimilation whereas surely it is integration that is required. I know you will counter that argument by suggesting that any immigrant is welcome if they live within the law. Equally, many indigenous British citizens choose to live outside the law, as evidenced by overcrowded prisons.

Quite right, my incorrect use of terminology is probably caused by my obsession with the good aliens raised in the missing missile thread. 😀
I am quite sure the Borg would not consider assimilating the Poppy burners as they have to have some charactistics which would prove useful. From where I’m standing they don’t have any redeeming features.
