Thanks for letting us know, you will no doubt keep us informed as most of us no longer are able to see it on TV as its on Aussie/US controlled Sky unless you are a millionaire and are able to afford Sky.
Nosmo
I also think that Sky’s take over of Test Cricket coverage and it’s subsequent removal from terrestrial TV has really knocked the interest in the game in this country, perhaps thats what Herr Murdoch wanted to happen. Funny thing is, we had some Sky door to door salesmen round last week, really nice bloke as well actually, When I told him, no way, couldn’t afford it, he said, don’t tell me you hate Murdoch and you’re p@ssed off about the exclusive Ashes coverage. He was a black guy so I told him I was peed off with missing the West Indies as well, he said it was the attitude of most people, which didn’t surprise me.
I also think that nice Mr Ruperts overbidding for football rights in this country has screwed that game up as well.
I’m just waiting for F1 to vanish into Skies pocket, I think it’s the only thing that the BBC have left, I personally can’t stand it, but many people do, then off course it will be the Cup Final.
I had to watch it on ITV yesterday, their timing with the adverts is beyond belief sometimes, it really ruins the atmosphere of the whole thing, but at least we didn’t have to put up with a commentary from that droning, useless pillock David Pleat, how can ITV justify his no doubt massive salary that he probably spends on some of the corner girls he hung out with during his Spurs managerial days.
