Hello
I had a very enjoyable day on Saturday at Headcorn.
Even though we are in the middle of Autumn, the airport (no doubt helped by the excellent weather) attracted many interesting visitors. It took a while for things to get going, though, and the first aircraft of interest to me was F-GAQT on her way to Biggin Hill:-

Headcorn usually attracts foreign visitors on a nice day, and as well as QT there was also a French Robin and a Cessna from the Netherlands.
G-ETIV brightened things up, visiting from Rochester:-

G-CDCE had a busy day, performing several flights and livening things up in the car park with this pass:-

To be honest, I’m not a big fan of vintage aircraft (give me a Cirrus over a Chipmunk anytime), but I did enjoy seeing this Hornet Moth:-

It was pretty busy at times – I reckon there are 10 aircraft in this shot:-

The Stampes waiting to take off in the photo above were on their way to do some aerobatics overhead the field:-

One of the last arrivals before I left for home was the based TB-20 G-TBXX:-

All in all, an excellent day. Plenty more photos can be found at http://www.flickr.com/photos/indiaecho/

Neil
