Tony Hart RIP

Children’s TV presenter Tony Hart has passed away at age of 83.
Who can forget growing up with art shows like “Hart beat” and “Take Hart” and of course Morph.

RIP Tony Hart you made childhood fun.

Between Him and Rolf Harris they brought art to millions of us.

Yep, was an avid watcher of “Take Hart”. One of the first, if not the first programmes for the deaf too.

He set the standard for Art programmes for the kids, Art Attack and the other one (The lad that committed suicide) owe their format to Tony H. RIP.

As a child I once sent in a picture to ‘The Gallery’. It was an attempt at copying a Lautrec masterpiece, but sadly it failed to make an impression….

What a shame another great talent lost,he was a brilliant cartoonist and seems to have been on television forever as my father remembers him from 1950s television programmes ,a sad loss.

Bloody hell, I used to watch him religiously.

RIP Tony. One of the few kids’ presenters who genuinely made art interesting (for me, anyway)
