Yes a quick zip around the airport at 11:30hrs this morning produced these …. three CHC Sikorsky S76C helicopters on Dutch (JAN DE RIJK) low loader trailers ….. ???? what are they here for ?? are they just passing through ?? on their way into the UK ?? …. on their way out of the UK ?? here for a paint job ?? …. They were nowhere to be seen at 17:00hrs ….. ??

Doh ! Newforest !! The trucks have been trucking ! the painters have been painting ! the photographers have been waiting ! kevin has been camping ! and it all ended happily ever after …… BUT WHITE ……omg there is a large fleet of all white aircraft somewhere !! now they have rotarys as well ….. :diablo:

Well they rolled out today in a very catching all over white scheme, so the speculation as to their future continues …… storage somewhere ? Who knows ???

Hi guys, thanks for your collective input, It has been suggested that all three are in one of the spray shops ??? ….. Wouldn’t it be so nice if each rolled out in a different colour scheme …… now that would get the shutter release mechanisms working overtime ?? 😉

As no-one else has any information, let me suggest that the S.76’s are being exported as ‘SC was recently active at Robin Hood. The definitive answer is at CHC headquarters, 01224-846000. 😀
