I want my Kidney back!

What a fantastic story!
In Short, man marries woman. Marriage goes on for 15 years. Woman gets ill, man gives kidney to save her life.
Then man finds out that for past 7 years she’s been making the beast with two backs with her physio. Divorce starts and he wants the kidney back or 1.5Million USD as a payoff. Brilliant, and IMO 100% correct, the lying cheating cow.

Yes, you’re spot on with the existing law. But, ethics now need to be looked at

He hasn’t got a hope in hell.

Donation is not a loan. Once something has been donated, ownership changes permanently and irrevocably.

Body parts can’t be deemed to be shared assets, either.

Looking at the other postings in this thread, presumably you’d all be of the same opinion if we were talking about a woman who had donated a kidney to a cheating husband?

Of course you would…..

As for gender swapping, yes, I would.
Infidelity, once a committment is made, is a major No-no in my book.

I’d love to see the medical ethicists take on this one!! I’m sure it would make the consent form interesting if he wins his case! (Though really he shouldn’t for the reasons already stated.)

I would imagine that you are not allowed to sell a kidney in the USA – ergo it has no cash value.

He loses but the judge will have fun with him.
