Any thoughts on whether or not this is a feasible concept?

NB: I know this is aviation related, but didn’t think it fitted into any of the other categories, so I’ll let the mods decide if it should move or stay here.

This is something akin to a perpetual motion machine, isn’t it?
Even if it did work, what would be the practical application?
not really there is still energy lost through air resistance etc, this is just generated again, perpetual motion machine has 100% efficiency.
the concept may well hold water but i would question it’s stability

I have flown gravity powered aircraft. Both times I was lucky to find a place to land. I hate it when the engine gets quiet. 😮
