Snow

When I went to scool in the 50/60s we NEVER heard of schools closing when there was some (in some cases as little as 1″) snow. A relative of mine comes from AUSTRIA and when he goes home they all laugh at the OVER REACTION in the UK to a BIT of snow. I have to admit that SOME PLACES do get it a bit bad but it seems that6 for the majority of schools the snow (Usually) less than TWO inches is a bloody good excuse to have a day off !! :confused::confused:
