Despite what a lot of people say about the difficulty of taking photos at Gatwick it is possible to get reasonable shots. Ok not the highest quality but not bad. These were taken in about a 90 minute period. Photos needed to be cropped a fair bit….

I am at LGW right now been sniffing out places best i found is in a water board place, where i imagine i wouldnt last long lol… and after running around central London all day in glorious sunshine..the second i stop here the rain comes on!!

It’s down a road next to a farm but you have to shoot between trees and you only get a one second window to shoot. The aircraft are landing a fair distance away so have to crop them a bit so lose quality. I can’t remember the name of the road or farm. It’s a few hundred yards west of the M23 motorway I think so head in that direction on the runway 26 approach and you are not far away.

These look like they were taken from the inner perimeter road, near the old ‘Beehive’.
It’s a good spot on a sunny morning, as the sun is coming from over your shoulder.

Excellent set! nowt rubbish there! what was your shooting location? i havent been able to find a decent spot on my rare visits.
