Yes some more holiday snaps to share ….. On the trip from Opa Locka to St Maarten, we stopped for fuel at San Juan. Puerto Rico. Whilst there we were welcomed by a large party of former Eastern Air Lines employees who were having a party !!! some were dressed in period outfits ….. some were reliving some strange memories ?? a mixture of photos …

This is the outward journey, more photos from the return journey, and another airport to follow.

Would love to look at all these pics but each one shows a Photobucket “Bandwidth Exceeded” logo. I can open each one in a new tab but with all these pics it would take far too long.

A treat to see Keith and for some reason it looks very retro:)I liked the Fed Ex machines and the tanker with the really old looking hangar in the background. I hope that the funny looking woman holding up the blue “Eastern” flight bag wasn’t an old Russian air stewardess or most of the blokes would have been running about like in a “Benny Hill”sketch with her doing the chasing..ha,ha:)..thanks for posting

OK second stop on the return was at Aquadidla-Borinquen Airport. This was a little stricter !! The folks in control just didn’t welcome 50 aviation enthusiasts armed with cameras !! we were very limited where we could go and defineatly in what we could photograph !! But hey we all got a few …..
some to share with you 🙂
Keith.

And our most friendly crew …. reluctantly posing for us ….. thanks to all !

This fellow was missing from the above photo …. said he was paying for fuel ? or someother excuse !! Many Many Thanks to Roger Jarman …. one of the major drives behind a flying DC-7B !!!!
