A journalist’s POV…

If you report someone’s death, you’re basically obliged to report the cause of death. It’s just part of the story – nothing more, nothing less. I personally don’t see the need to overly exploit the somewhat less-than-ordinary cause of death beyond a normal obit, but the raunchier media without a doubt would.

In this case, I would have definately suggested ‘David Carradine dies by own hand’ for a headline here…

The tabloids here are promoting the fact that he was found wearing Womens underwear
