Indeed, ‘Blue Ray’ plays guitar in the Electric Eel soul food cafe every Tuesday from 10 ! 😉
No no ,hes a rather athletic dwarf porn star, who’s forte includes wardrobe leaping and coal scuttling.

I gave up purchasing up-to-date equipment a long time ago…by the time I can afford it, it is already obsolete 😀 😀 😀 LOL 😀

And all of that means that the arseload of DVDs one might have will probably have to be replaced eventually…
And the successor to Blue Ray is already in the works too, Not that I’d wait for that to arrive, consumer technology can take ten years to hit the high street. Incidentally, the fullest resolution HD available just now is 1080 x 1920 and preferably of the progressive ‘p’ variety. More expensive but a treat for the eyes… I’m shooting an HD job just now, looks great… 😀

No.
A Blue Ray player wil play regular DVDs…but a regular DVD can not play Blue Rays. Some films it really doesn’t matter if they’re Blue rays or not.
Others, it probably does.
I just bought “Master and Commander” on Blue Ray to supplement my earlier wide screen deluxe edition.
I’m sure it will really get transport me into the Royal Navy of the early 19th Century..the smell of the rum, the sting of the lash, hanging blokes for b*****y…

I have a Sony Blue Ray hooked to my Sony 1080 plasma that’s only lightly larger than my first apartment.
Blue Ray is a higher def of DVDs.
Pretty pictures…better sound.
