BAA has in the past day or two changed their quite nice blue and yellow websites to something a little more simple.
What do you think?

FlyGlobespan do operate charter flights dont they? I know at least they operate Hurgada on behalf of MyTravel.
Yes, that is a charter flight, as you can’t book that one on Flyglobespan’s website. The rest of their route network should be seen as scheduled flights though.

Nice, but a small mistake. Where it says ‘How can we help?’ the middle pic (A320 and 747) is actually of MAN.
I know what your getting at. There is a very similar photo spot at 24L @ Manchester, where you can get shots almost identical to that photo.
But, they look like two British Airways aircraft to me and they look like they are either holding for 27R or taxing to 27R @ LHR. You can tell this because the flaps are extended for takeoff.

Probably because Flyglobespan give you the option of a flight+hotel package, but you’re right, they’re not charter flights.
Even bmi does this.

Why on the EDI site are Fly Globepsan routes listed in the charter section

A nice layout, but like Flex not keen on the colours, although it does convey a very realistic feeling of Heathrow 😀

Yeah?
Doesnt look like MAN personally!
Doesen’t look like it to me either! Not that you would be able to tell anyway with such a small photo!
As Michael says, why would they use a photo from MAN?

Why would BAA want to use photos from Manchester anyway? They have seven of their own airports they can visit to get photographs.

How can you possibly tell? (Not that it matters anyway!).

I love the new look, far better than the old one, which as others have said, was looking quite dated.

Improvment to the old one. The old one deffo looked outdated and clumsy. This is better

I like it, looks better than the old site still not a fan of their layout of the page etc.

I like the look, very fresh and crisp, but now runs EVEN slower than the old BAA website..!

Its better, but not great. Too many grey colours for me on the site, looks a bit miserable (like Heathrow!). Only joking! 😉
