Good evening,

Here is a scan of B737-248 EI-ASB when the livery was not retro but standard. Not taken at Manchester, but at Schiphol on April 12th, 1971.

Kind regards,

It is nice to see that some airlines are aware of their long history, rather than just thinking about their commercial future! I like this sort of retro livery on modern jets. 🙂

half the time on the viewing park side now you are shooting into the sun

I never go there until after 3pm. No good for photos. After 4pm in sunny weather it’s unbeatable for photography.

Good takes considering those are mid morning to early afternoon shots judging by sun angle.

about 15.00 aroundabout !! at one point the viewing area was at the other side of the runway

half the time on the viewing park side now you are shooting into the sun

I keep missing this one. It’ll turn up again sooner or later. Good takes considering those are mid morning to early afternoon shots judging by sun angle.
