I know that there are a large number of regular photographers on here, so just had a small idea for a thread. Basically, each person is entitled to post 2 of their own photos (commercial aircraft only), that they think are the best they have taken since January. Or if not the best, the most interesting. I know that strictly speaking it is Summer now, but it hasn’t really kicked in yet. I’ll probably do a similar thread once the Summer has passed..
This time next week, I will draw the thread to a close and then include the entrants in a poll where the rest of the forum can vote for the best couple of shots.

Sorry to bring this up again, but was wondering what happened with this poll where we decide the winner?…
Well Matt looking at Dan’s signature he is in Crete right now so I guess it won’t happen till he gets back on the 19th at least. The thread will just roll back down the page till it dissapears again…………

LMAO!……we both know which site is better 😀 😉
Well, I should have known. I mean, when this photo was being screened it only had 9000+ hits at JP.

Picking the first photo was a piece of cake. It’s been the best I shot without a doubt, and is now poster sized 30x45cm that is used to hold the wall together. I live in a house that would fall apart without posters of planes, London and girls. 😀
Picking the 2nd photo was a very hard one. In the end it was decided by flipping a coin (flipping it very gently to prevent the house from falling apart on impact ;)). It was either this one, or a cockpit shot of a DC-3 while flying or an Varig MD-11 landing in the snow.
Anyways, click on the photo for a larger version. It’s at JP.net so beware for pop-ups.
