I’ve just checked the original RAW file at 100% zoom, and he appears to be pointing at a patch of spilled liquid (oil?) on the floor in which he has just trodden.

Grey Area. Supurb photos, as always, but has the middle guy in the middle photo just trodden in something ‘undesireable’ causing the female to drop her backpack and the other guy to take an interest ???? …. 😀
