I have a UK client wants to place a press release in a US magazine with the contact number being his office in Florida and an associated cell phone
The numbers he has given me to add to the release are
tel no 001(352) 735 XXXX
Cell (352) 406 XXXX
(The ‘x’ being the appropriate numbers of course).
Am I correct in thinking that the first number at least, is in ‘international’ format and that for ‘US domestic only’ use should not have the leading 00 or 001?

Yep. Everyone over here uses the (000) 123-4567 format. Some still use the 1-800-123-4567 format for 800 (free call) numbers.
