Charlton Heston passed away Saturday night at his home with Lydia, his wife of 60+ years, at his side. Between college at Northwestern University in Chicago and his acting career, he was a B-25 gunner during the Aleutian campaign. He was connected with the American Air Museum in Britain in the 1990s, taking over from his friend Jimmy Stewart.

No such actor out of Hollywood for the last 25 years.
Not that he was a great actor, but he sure had presence.
And one of the few, who never got divorced.
One less from the old times.
