R.I.P. Jeff Healey

I just found out today that the great blues guitarist Jeff Healey passed away, having only just ‘discovered’ his music I am deeply sadenned by this news, he was the best example of raw tallent and determination.

His talent will be sadly missed by blues fan. Although not much of a blues fan personally I still appreciate talent and he had it with a capital T. even more sad to lose such a talented musician so young. He’d have been good for quite a few more years I’m sure.

I first heard Jeff’s ‘See The Light’ on the radio twenty years ago, was blown away and went straight out to get the album. Very sad to hear of his premature demise, and to discover he was only 41, I assumed he was much older than that!
