Christmas Shopping

I can’t for the life of me see as to WHY people try to EMPTY the grocers/Supermarket for a ONE DAY closure ??? I could understand it if the food shops were going to be closed for a week but most of them are now open on the 26th.

PS to all of you HAPPY CHRISTMAS and a VERY GOOD and SAFE 2008.

No stress here, I got a personal shopper to get my final bits, I sipped Champagne and tasted canapés while she trawled the store.:diablo:

Or slightly deranged ,the thought of a shop shutting for more than one day seems to send folks into a panic buy hysteria.
If you venture into a supermarket of town center today just look around at the stress on peoples faces,i wonder how many illnesses are brought on at this time of year, by the need to feel like they’ve put on the perfect spread over the holidays.

Just been to the local the local supermarket for a bottle of wine for tonight and the lady in front of me had two trolleys full ,i also noticed 6 loaves of bread and 2 dozen eggs among the mince pies and various cheeses.
Now thats one hell of bread and butter pudding……….
