I was lucky enough to spend a couple of hours at the spottersplatz at XFW in glorious early morning (but BALTIC!!) sunshine:
This is the spottersplatz spotting platform beside the delivery centre, very good for shooting and lets you clear the fence without ladders:

OLT Fokker from Toulouse:

Shiny new Sichuan air A320 taxiing out to do a RTO test, this aircrafts first flight was due later that day it will become B-6771

Beluga “3” being loaded with an airframe section
…. then taxiing out for take off

New A380 for SIA… will become 9V-SKM
… And Lufthansa’s next A380 this will be D-AIMF
Thanks for looking 😀

LOL Pieter:
Well i don’t think it would be very busy tbh… i only spent maybe 2-3 hours and the above was the movements (As i was leaving another bus (Livingston i think) was heading towards the runway) but i think it would be fairly quiet on a day to day… but i guess you could always go to HAM if it got boring.
Cheers.

Excellent selection! How busy is the place on a normal day? I would like to go there some day but would rather not go if there are only 3 or 4 testflights. It’s still a looooong drive and with today’s diesel prices…
How annoying would it be to drive all the way there only to see a Easyjet and a British Airways bus doing testflights! 😉
