Lace Panels

In the June 2007 issue of Flypast (Montrose Lottery “Double”) there is a photo of the new hangar at Montrose Air Station Heritage Centre.

Hanging from the back wall is a Battle of Britain Lace Panel, it was loaned for the opening of the hangar.

It is one of a number, probably 38, that were produced by Dobsons and M. Browne & Co. Ltd. between 1942 and 1946/7

I know the locations of some 30 of them and would like to hear from anyone knowing the whereabouts of any of them, this will further confirm those that I know of and possibly bring to light others that have not been located yet.

Any leads gratefully accepted.
