Anyone been to Vienna?

I went to vienna but it was with an ULTRAVOX record:D:D:D:D think if remember i was P***** at the time, Dont know if that is of any help scotty Sry mate Couldnt resist, happy traveing in the big white van mate.

Thanks for that… does’nt bode too well then for parking up near the perimeter… will check out some of those spots if i end up with some free time.

I was in Vienna in 2008. The runways are accesible, only not with motorised transport. Al the country lanes leading to and along the runways are “Verboten fur Motorfahrzeuge”. The police patrol regularly aswel so better not to try.

The best spot in the morning is in Klein Neu-Siedl on the L156 to the east of the airport. If you park your truck on or near the Katharinenhofstrasse you can walk the last couple of hundred meters to the runway (assuming they fly from the south). The fence is about shoulder hight so you only need a small elevation to shoot over the fence. also if you move closer to the threshold you can shoot landing shots just above the ground. To the west of the runway is also possible but you would have to walk some 30 minutes from the nearest point that you can park a car.

The southside of the runway in front of the terminal is a long walk from anywhere.
