Learned contibutors,
I seek your help please. I am trying to identify a novel from around 1970 ( give or take 5 years either side) The title was similar to Crimson Autumn. It is based on a Soviet Russian invasion of Scotland. Can anyone help please. I’ve tried most of the usual places.
Your time and trouble much appreciated.
Be lucky
David
P.S. Perhaps others would like to drift this thread in search of their own lost tome?

Possible leads
I plugged in some of the provided information in the advance search function at www.abebooks.com. Here are a couple of possible leads (I haven’t read them myself):
Conquest Before Autumn by Matthew Eden (Abelard-Schuman, 1973)
A Piece of Resistance: The Russian Invasion of Britain by Clive Egleton (New English Library, 1972)
Good luck!
