It was annouced via PPRuNe today that Nick Lock, the avionics technician from 6 Squadron RAF who was the centre of a massive fundraising campaign to supply him with a potential live saving drug to try and defeat his cancer, passed away this morning.

Thanks for letting us know, words fail me right now. I just hope his family will be well looked after, if not by the MOD, then I know you guys who worked with Nick will make darn sure they are. Bex

Terribly sorry to hear that. I’m sure the whole of the RAF will be mourning his loss, as will the rest of us. Our condolences.
