dark light

2000th post so here's a few pictures.

It’s been a while since I’ve posted any pictures from work but it turns out that flying from the other seat leaves a lot less free time (and hands) for picture taking on the ground. Well I had the opportunity to snap a few pictures during a brief stop in Aguascalientes, Mexico this weekend. I was hoping to take a picture of the airport from the air but the controller didn’t leave much time for sightseeing so I had my hands full.

Hope you enjoy.

More around the cockpit and cabin shots please. i’d like an idea of how much space there is in there.

I’ll try and get a FA to pose for some scale. If I stand in there it’ll look like a toy with my 6’6″ frame. 🙂

I’ll get some centre gear pics next time I’m on the 600 as that has some bizarre features (eg front right wheel is braked by the left pedal while the rear left is braked by the right pedal!). I’ve got some new onboard photos so I’ll show those in another thread.

Regards

More please (and more tech ones please)!

Anything in particular? I take requests. 🙂

Some closeup shots of the A340 would be nice as well. How about the landing gear system? I’ve never gotten close up to the big Airbus’ and would like to see the 3rd main setup.

Aguascalientes does in fact mean warm (or hot) water. I guess it was named that after the local hot springs. I’m suprised they were able to find something to name the town after as there is NOTHING for quite a while out there. Not really high on my vacation destination list.

Great collection there WD, tell me something; does “Aguascalientes” mean warm waters or something similar ? 😀

And by the way, still haven’t from the guy building the 1:400 scale jungle jets as yet. 😮
