Radio Telescope/Receiving Station Menorca?

I have been searching Menorca on Google Earth to locate some nice secluded coves and interesting sites to visit when I visit in August. Whilst virtually touring the island I came across what appears to be a receiving antenna/dish/wotsit 2 miles east of Aero Club De Menorca, Sant Luis. Its around 1000ft across, so it ain’t no miliionaires Sky Digital dish!! Its like a smaller version of the Aracebo SETI dish. Anyone know if this is a functioning site and what its purpose is?

Co-ordinates are:
39 51’23.42″N 4 17’28.61″E

I can not find anything on the web about it. Top secret military installation for communicating with little green men perhaps? (and i don’t mean chinese tourists with spanish tummy 😀 )?

(P.S. I have also found a giant sea squirrel attempting to eat Menorca. Posted it on GE forum but co-ords are 39 48’37.54″N 4 15’37.37″E 😀 I reckon he’s after me nuts!!!)
