This years autumn trip brought me to Beijing, not my first visit but the last one had been when there were 2 runways and 2 terminals.
The airport has grown to 3 of each and the traffic has grown correspondingly.
I am happy to report that spotting is no problem in Beijing (as long as you visit civil airports). There are also some Chinese spotters
and all of us were standing openly on the acces road to the 3rd terminal. Police drove by several times and paid no attention to us what so ever.
