'Space travel' forum thread?

Hi all,

Not been in the General Discussion thread for along time, but I thought I would take this opportunity to ask a quick question if I may…

Can we have a ‘space travel’ forum thread at all?

Ok, so I know that ‘space travel’ does not exactly constitute as ‘aviation’, but if you think about it, it is still a form of air travel, and people do technically ‘fly’ when travelling into space!

More importantly though, with the gradual introduction of ‘space tourism’ and establishment of companies such as Virgin Galactic and the very real prospect of the ‘general public’ soon being able to visit the outer atmosphere and possibly beyond in the future, it seems to me that ‘space’ is just a fasinating subject that alot of people would/should be interested in and there would be a lot of interesting things that can be discussed and opinions can be shared amongst other fellow forum members?

I know for sure if there was a thread made for it, this is the first thing I would look to post in it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sJj1WpbvxM4 – isnt it just amazing!:D

Anyways, to get back to the point, I would like to know what you think?

Any opinions are welcomed.

Dependent on the responses recieved, would the Mods/Webmaster consider the possibility of adding a thread onto the main menu please?

Yes Please!

Space exploration is fascinating; and just to kick things off, what do other forumites thick of NASA’s forthcoming Orion CEV?

Look forward to hearing your views, Steve.
