Do we think Barry was may be there…..:D 😀 😀 😀
I must admit to a tear in the eye when i watched the news and his passing came on ,say what they will about the man ,but an entertainer he was and a leading light in black music.

I Would add that he was a leading light in music in general, He was for soul what Johnny Cash was for country and Elvis Presley was for Rock and Roll, A intresting character and a great entertainer, His music will live on for many many generations, The stories of his life will just add to the legend of James Brown as time goes on.
R.I.P James Brown

A shame he won’t “Get On Up” any more really… 😮
A shame ?!!!!!!!????? Soul music has just lost the equivilant of Presley or Lennon. As Bob Hoskins said in The Long Good Friday……”Mind my grief”!!!!!!!!!!!

Had the pleasure of seeing him do his stuff 3 times. The man was “Super Bad” and “Out Of Sight” because he had the “Soul Power” to “Get On The Good Foot” when he had to “Get Up Off That Thing” because he was always “Gonna Have A Funky Good Time” waiting for the “Night Train”
Another voice to join that sweet-souled heavenly choir:cool:
