I have finally had enough!
Tony Blair has finally realised we have been destroying the enviroment for the last 100 years or so and thinks it’s time to get it sorted.
Fine.
We need to use less and recycle more.
Fine.
This and sorting out problems will cost money.
Naturally.
Each individual in this country should pay £1700+ per year to help fund this.
Err, unless I’m very much mistaken aren’t the worlds problems the problem of the world?
Haven’t America, Russia, South America, China, Australia etc contibuted largely to these problems?
Then why do I personally have to contibute 2 months wages towards sorting out the worlds problems without any choice?
I bet Tony Blair doesn’t…! 😡

Wont it be great for our kids , grand kids and their grand kids…
They will be able to see all those extinct animals on DVD ..or whatever is the latest gizzmo..
We have lived our lives in stiffling heat, petrol guzzling our ways back and forth, overeating while others starve , waste and destruction following us around our selfish lives..
God is visiting his wrath on us …..
Prepare to meet thy doom!!! Joke…well kind of…..actually…
We made the mess , WE.. and our descendants and now we must start to pay if we want a world to pass on to those who follow.
Until the same wrath is laid at the feet of Bush and the rest of the world don’t ask me for another penny.

Peace to the world.
Never mind all that ******** about saving the planet and paying more tax, what do i pay my extra tax with. And why has the Jock in number 10 just given another £100,000,000 of our money to the Iraqis for, we need money spending here at home in England – you know hospitals, schools, coppers on the street, muggers and rapists and kiddie fidlers to hang. Smell the roses Tomy – Gordon the countries just reached the “U” bend and is going down fast.

Now moocher, you have got to admit that our present government are shrewd thinkers. Who would have thought of giving away money, to make the world a safer place . We can now assume that the terrorist threat is now coming to an end, and the world is a safer place. We will soon be able to bring our troops home, as a new era of piece is born. Perhaps we could export some of our prison folk to these countries. Now that’s an idea. 😀 😀 😉

Sorry…. Tony doesn’t hold any weight with me. He believed all the stupidity about Iraq via Bush etc. etc. I doubt I am going to take any notice of him parroting the global warming alarmist propaganda. The emperor has no cloths.
Sorry to tell you, but the other lot think the same, so looks like there’s no hiding place for mister/ missis/miss average any more. You are all going to pay a heavy price for your polluting ways.
Just think TAX,TAX,TAX.
Here’s a few suggestions.
Road charging £2 per mile, what a deal. :diablo:
Congestion charge £25 for gas guzzlers. :diablo:
Rubbish, £15 per house. :diablo:
Water bills doubled :diablo:
Gas bills doubled. :diablo:
Electricity bills doubled. :diablo:
Parking, loads of money to be made here. :diablo:
Yes my friends, Britain the land of hope and glory. 😀 😀

Show the world you care.
Now come on chaps, you know Britain is a fantastic country. Every individual in this country should show the world, just how much we care about the environment. We are willing to put money into solving the worlds problems, what other country boasts such commitment. Stop being so selfish, and think ” I can save the world ”. Then before you can say ” Jack Robinson ”, all those other countries that can’t be bothered, will follow our lead. Yes my friends, I believe, I believe, I believe. We should be so proud of our wonderful government, which is so forward looking. 😀 😀 😀 😀

Been reading the Sunday papers again eh? Don’t trust what you read 😉
Labour have been banging on about green issues since I don’t know when starting with more incineration to combat landfill problems then blaming the 2000/1 winters on climate change (which was iirc cuased by Norway being very cold and producing a blocking High). Their implementation record though has been poor in my view, so you can assume that what you see is BS.
The simple issue to fix recycling is to rethink the recycle by weight principle. Presently this makes paper and glass attractive to local councils because they incur less landfill tax comparitive to additional collection charges. However lighter materials such as plastic still get trashed.
