Hello all, I just found these forums on google.And It looked like it was geared toward youth in aviation, but if not okay.About me- I have a huge aviation family.
😎 My granfather flew B-25’s in the USAF and went on to work for TWA, He stayed with TWA until he retired. He flew the Constellation as a capt and retired as a captain on the 727.
😎 My Father started flying with my grandfather when he was 15, my dad got his first job at pilgrim airlines flying fokkers and then worked on the 727 as a contract pilot for UPS, My dad no longer flies commercially but works for Alteon as a 737 check airman.
I have three uncles and two aunts all of which are also in aviation. The oldest uncle works as a mechanic for American airlines while, the next uncle in line flies 777’s for American. The final uncle is a commander on the C-5 galaxy, he is a reserve airman for the 512th out of Dover and saw the C-5 that crashed while on approach to Dover…………..My two aunts are not really involved in aviation but are close to it. The first is a sales rep for privatair and the second is a dispatcher for United.
I myself am 19 yrs old and I am working towards my PPL I have about 81.7 hrs in a C-172 and am looking forward to taking my checkride. I take alot of flying pictures and hope to share them here on the boards!
