Legally Legless!

Wooo….the day has finally arrived….18 years old!

Does anyone have any funny stories to share from their 18th birthdays and the drunken parties that are normally associated with them?

Like Paul, I was playing a gig on my 18th. Luckily we were the first act on a three-band bill, so I managed to indulge in plenty of liver-punishing nevertheless.

Happy Days. :D:D:D

Not exactly MY 18th, but at my mates I got so drunk that I forgot where I was, proceeded to ‘mess around with’ three girls who wern’t my girlfriend. I woke up with one in the morning and apparently I had been with (at last count) three others at various points in the night. The morning after I was so rough that I had to stop on the motorbike three times on the way home to be violently sick. The third time I only just managed to get my helmet off…

I realise now that I was still WAY too drunk to be riding that bike…

Another party ended when we were formally warned by the Halls Warden in Uni that we wern’t allowed to have a waterfight… I thought it would be a hilarious idea to creep up behind him and tip a bucket of water over him. He wasn’t that ammused…

I spent the first half of my 18th in the local nick and the second half chained to a prospective bride groom and a five bar gate. 😮 😮

Happy Birthday Dan.

Unlike Gary, I can actually remember mine (as it was only a couple of years ago). I spent all night drinking and was completely fine, sober as a judge. However, after only ONE MORE PINT, I was as legless as Darth Vader 😀 😀 😀

Just remember – What is a good night out if you can’t remember it???????????

Still, I hope you have a great time 😉 😉 😉

But, for God’s sake, drink sensibly 🙂 🙂 🙂 Mark :dev2:

My 18th was brilliant, had a huge party arranged for me at a Thames location, turned up it was full of stuck up people that I did not want to be with, so a quick scout around grab a few mates and off for a curry. 😀 😀 leaving everyone wondering where i was. ROFL 😀 😀

Happy Birthday 😉 😀

My 18th was crap – no party, no nothing! 🙁

I’ve made up for it every year since, though! 😉

Happy birthday! 🙂

Dan… You’re getting old…

I actually spent my 18th birthday doing a gig at some dodgy working men’s club in the North East, so I was relatively sober. For anyone who’s never had the joys of having the ‘Workies Club Experience’, if you’ve watched Phoenix Nights, it’s exactly the same. Thankfully I haven’t done a gig in one of those places for a good few years now!

Of course, I made up for it spectacularly the night after… And the night after that… And the night after that. The only thing several days of messiness taught me was that Aftershock is evil, and I really should just stick to the golden fizzy stuff. 🙂

Hope you have a good day mate. I’ll buy you a late birthday beer the next time we meet!

Paul
