As if we needed any further proof about just what a farce the courts have now become, some idiot shoves a glass in a pub landlords face, and gets a prison sentence, however when the idiot cry’s in court the judge says he can do community service instead of going to prison.
Oh and it gets worse, this fool gets 200 hours community service, yet some muppit who kills someone by running them over while high on drink and drugs gets away with just 100 hours community service.

Your right SOFTLAD it is a disgrace, and its high time Judges started giving out punishments that reflect the seriousness of the crime not the rights of the criminal.

Let’s face it..it’s politically incorrect to hold anyone responsible for their actions. Blame it on: society, big business (like the stupid woman who won a large lawsuit against McDonalds because she put her cup of coffee between her legs while driving and it spilled severly burning her), etc. etc.
My favorite example of bad behavior being “rewarded” occurred 25 years ago…I poacher shot and killed two game wardens. He said it was self defense…they were armed so he shot them. The idiot jury let him off with just 25 years.
Lot’s of non-violent offenders get more than that everyday.

It’s a disgrace ! Seems to be the way the legal system in this country is going at present. Just hope it goes full circle in the near future ?
