My brother had fun trying to do that one…………..I make a much better fighter pilot than an AA gunner that’s for sure 😀 😀 😀 Mark 😀

The only one I’ve got is San Andreas. Can’t pass the ruddy Zero mission – Air Raid I thionk it is 😡 😡 😡
With the mini-guns on the roof? It takes a few goes but it can be done. Try deflection shooting… 😉
The best one (for me) is a side-mission where you get to fly the RC biplane and blow up vans. HOURS of fun to be had! 😀

Well brought myself ‘Liberty City Stories’ today for PS2, 17 quid . Now just have to try it out :D.

I’ll have to give that a whirl sometime. Usually I just jump into one of the (several) planes I’ve got and go buzz the military! I never knew a cropduster biplane could dogfight with a jet! :diablo:

Try it- pick a road on the highway and go. Pick a destination and just drive in the 1st person view. Its spectacular. Just don’t hit the nitro.

I always say that the best thing about San Andreas is the fact that you can navigate completely by the in game roadsigns. The fact that you can drive and drive and drive, into the countryside and boom you see the sun setting, and crash because of it.

Really? I’ve NEVER noticed the roadsigns! 😮

I played Liberty City on PSP a bit, I got stuck on the mission where you collect the guys from the petrol station with cops shootin’ at them. I wasn’t exactly successful, so I sold it.
I got past that easily – basic idea is just to drive like a tank straight through the blockade, shoot out with the cops (if they haven’t riddled your car by then) and try to cover the other guys. Third attempt – easy 😉
Yeah, The Getaway had a good premise and was very well done, but it just lacked…. something!! I thought it was too slow in general – it was too easy to become morgue meat while trying to pull your gun, and I got stuck beyond belief at the mission in the house (where you have to avoid setting off the gas).

Just play it again and you’ll know exactly what I mean! :dev2: .
Yes your right, he was best in GTA3 with the talk-show which as you say was hilarous :D.
I was actually thinking “I haven’t played Vice City for a while – I really must!” the other day! Will do very soon.
What about Liberty City Stories? I’m finding it to be pretty good – love stomping the familiar ground of LC, too, although I’m stuck at the mission on the cargo ship – with the chainsaws!!!
By: Future Pilot - 28th June 2006 at 10:27
Really? Why is that? I admit I’ve not played VC for ages

The only recurring character in the series is DJ Lazlow Jones – some of the callers on his talkshow are just utterly hilarious! 😀

I had to include my opinions on what a fantastic game this is! you actually find that if you play Vice City etc again after playing San Andreas it is a horrible experiance 😀 .
Vice City had the best soundtrack for a game ever though :diablo: .
Really? Why is that? I admit I’ve not played VC for ages – it’s probably the least played of the PS2 titles that I have. I did like the character of Tommy Vercetti a lot – there was some genuine humour in there.
I do love how the games all tie in with one another somehow (except the first two, although the names of the various cities are used). It was brilliantly done in San Andreas, with the volatile character of Catalina as the cousin of Cesar – she, of course, features in GTA3, where she’s become even more psychotic!!

San Andreas also has quite a long life span on it mainly for the range of stuff you can do because I find myself playing it even now, one problem I have though is I haven’t actually completed the last mission in San Andreas! when the cars roll off/crash through the bridge at the end my game freezes up! 😡
By: DazDaMan - 27th June 2006 at 12:44
Just takes timing…. 😉
By: laviticus - 27th June 2006 at 12:09
Really?? That’s EASY! Takes a couple of goes to get it, but it’s not that hard at all!
Thats easy dude.
Do you know you can right go off some people….. 😀 😀 😀 😀
Looks like getting back out of its box for a go,i just wish you could turn the bad language off as us with kids,it can be heard through out the house.
