Investigated a new spot for photography tonight. The light was closing in so not the best pictures, but a good vantage point I think.

Yes, it did entail a climb over 2 fences. A wooden one and a small barbed wire one. Just in front of the southside path there is an overgrown mound. I took the pics from here.

Looks like The Muddy Path to me. 😀
In my childhood I was a regular at Ringway and knew all the spots for spotting, now I only get up to Manchester infrequently and my knowledge is basically restricted to the viewing park and the top of the car park. I gather from these really nice pictures that there is a locoation to the south of the airport. Can anyone offer some advice?
