British Airways Boeing 757-200

Hey all,

With the Boeing 757’s now in their final few months of operation with British Airways before they are retired, the other week I asked my dad to get some pictures of the plane he would be flying before it would be too late and they would be no more. The 757 has been flying with British Airways since 1982 and it will be sad to see it go.

Here are the pictures. They are not brilliant because my dad was on a tight turn around :D.

More will come

Joe 😀

maybe some of the newer ones will find their way to Thomas Cook, when i flew on one of their 300 series recently, the pilot seemed to oversell the virtues of the TC 757-300, to the poor 280 souls CRAMMED in behind him, it was not so wonderful 😀

All BA B757’s are going to FedEx as far as im aware.

The B757 is a good plane!

It’ll be sad to see it disappearing from the Worlds Airline fleets..but we must make way for the latest technology

yeh I think CPET is the last one to go as it is the youngest . My dad was saying he will be sad when they go cause he prefers them a bit over the 767 he flies.

Nice photos.
Im really going to miss them. I remember as a youngster living near heathrow and seeing B757’s constantly coming in. I believe G-CPET is planned to be the last one to go.
One of my old flying instructors (now my mothers boyfriend) used to fly the B757 with BA and he was disappointed to hear they are being retired.
