Tell us the most stupiud bit of driving you saw in the snow yesterday

Well, the snow has arrived and true to form, just about everyone with a car can no longer driver prioperly… not that they could anyway!

Lots of folks setting off with just the windscreen cleared of snow. Leaving a 4 to 6 inch layer of snow on their bonnets and roofs! I mean, how bloody stupid can you get?!

And when will people learn that sitting, stuck and spinning your wheels whilst burnign your clutch will get you no where in 8 inch deep snow!

No, you don’t have to use winter tyres – but I have, and they give so much more confidence in snow/ice.

I seen some guy in Fife – he was stuck and trying to dig his car out of the snow – that was dumb :dev2: Hahaha – only kidding.

I had good fun down the back road where I stay. I managed to get stuck in 3rd due to snow compacting around my gear selector – a bit of scooping the snow away sorted that.

Would the wheels spinning on snow/ice affect the clutch?

I never managed to get stuck, my Megane was fine, but my mates Mondeo estate did a few times.
