Moderators. forumites…. just a thought

OK so here we are after the dust has settled after another teddie tossing that has seen more good members leave.

Why is it that people have to post there arguments on a PUBLIC forum and not use PM to make there attacks??? 😡

Is it going to end up being that there are no members here because the Moderators have had no choice but to declare armageddon on the membership….!

Come on guys abide by the rules and if someone really ticks you off then PM them and flame them that way if you wish. Lifes to short to lose firends on here over petty little arguments over things like spelling…! 😮

I do think that the Moderators should be reviewed by the webmaster and that they are accountable for their actions upon be it good or bad.

Also Moderators should PM the original thread poster (is it correct)? and let them know why there thread was removed it might help with the understanding..

Cheers guys
play safe

“by all means, feel free to start visiting a new forum. Nobody should feel obligated to hang around here if they don’t like it.”

Which is preciseley what many have done.

But oddly enough keep returning time and time again to air the same old grievances.

So Flood has apologised to Kev for any misunderstanding. I’ve cleaned up the thread. I wil raise Melvyn’s issue with the webbie who got back yesterday from a longish Christmas break. Those that want to contribute aviation topics are welcome to. Meanwhile I’ll lock the thread, explaining to Peter that repetitive moaning from the usual handful brings no benefits, but does get other peoples’ threads locked.

Oh, why am i here today? because I got a very important PM of a historical nature, not because I wish to stir or get involved in this petty bull**** yet again.

there was a time when this place was fun, and when it was informative, and when it was worth reading. Long time ago.

And SOC, I have no axe to grind with Flood or Moggy. But you? You come across, in my opinion, rather the opposite.

Eloquently put Mark as always. Bye bye.

If you have an issue with a Moderator, forward it to the Webmaster.

I have done that on at least two occasions and it has been ignored. The most recent was when a moderator made an unsubstantiated accusation against an aircraft owner. No apology was offered and the webmaster did not even have the common decency to acknowledge my comments, let alone reply.

If you have an issue with a Moderator, forward it to the Webmaster. If you have an issue with the Webmaster, forward it, I guess, to someone at Key. That’s the easiest solution I can think of. Then, if the results are not to our liking, by all means, feel free to start visiting a new forum. Nobody should feel obligated to hang around here if they don’t like it.

Generally speaking we do. Sometimes we forget or are too busy. We are only human (honest)

And when we move a thread for lack of relevant content (as with this one) we generally leave a note attached (as with this one)
