Hi all
Has anyone had any dealings with a debt collection company know as Capquest Debt Recovery ?
A close relative of mine has got capquest dealing with a debt he owes, however i think due to my own experince’s with debt companys this summer capquest are braking the law,
They have threatend to turn up at this persons home and remove goods without a court order, and I know full well this is against the law, and also threatend in one phone call to “make you pay whatever it takes, consider yourself warned”.
Now I ain’t had any dealings with these clowns but if anyone has would they tell me if they were treated inthe same way pelease ?

alot of debt collectors (especially the shady ones) will often use strongarm tactics that make people send money, even though they are not forced. in the US, my observations is that state gov’t is slow at dealing with these things, even though there is clearly a law against using intimidation.
