Bewarned!
If you live in the U.K.,your electoral information is no longer just held by your post office and local council!
It can now be viewed for free via http://www.b4u.co.uk 😡
If you dont like the idea of your information being viewed and maybe used by someone else then get on the site and get it removed!
Hope this info is of use to a few people.

Information appears to come from the 2003 Electoral Roll, none the less still a powerful bit of kit for the amateur sleuth. 😮

I took our households name off the fax register…. it was getting daft…. we got something like 10 – 15 calls a day… all junk faxes…. and then… when we just put the phone down to unaccept them… they called in the middle of the night to try again…. this we cured by turning off the phone at nights…. but they still came during the day! Saved hell of a lot of paper stopping those!

Theres a company that will take you telephone number off the lists used by call centres free of charge.
I “think” it is called TPS (sorry no link),i done it about 3 months ago and i have not had one sales call!
Here’s the link… I did it too after persistent sales call from the same person.
My first step was to suggest I’d visit the sales person and insert his phone forcibly into his rectum.
Upon that suggestion he was more than forthcoming with the details of this organisation… http://www.tpsonline.org.uk/tps/
