Hi all.
First actual spotting trip to Eefraar in decades!! Got lucky with the weather (mostly). The below shots are all shot out my window from the Ibis Heathrow Hotel on the Bath road. My room number was 507… i believe similar views are do-able in rooms 501 to 506 and prob same rooms on the 4th floor. The rooms have double windows both of which open in fully… so no glass to shoot through. So i stayed here till 9am…the sun is good here when aircraft are turning on to 27R to line up:
Apologies for the poor quality on some… still a bit ring rusty with low light!(that’s my excuse!!)
After this it was over to Myrtle Avenue (Via McD’s!!) for the real stuff.

Nice to see LHR from a new angle. But why do You use gif and not jpg?
That was an oversight in my part… i had’nt realised that Photoshop had changed itself to GIF for some reason, not until i tried uploadsing some other shots to JP:confused: Problem now rectified.:D

By coincidence I was down there on the same day, clearing the garden at my daughter’s house. If you go to the council tip in Hounslow they are right over your head at a couple of hundred feet on a 27L approach 😎
